About

I’m Charity, and this is my blog to help me leave the fat girl behind! I am on a journey to lose pretty much half my body weight. It will be a long rough, journey, but you’re welcome to tag along. This is my place to keep me accountable and keep in touch with other people who have made the commitment to lose weight. I need all the help I can get and would love to hear from others who are tired of being overweight and want a healthier life! πŸ™‚

  3. I started doing the Lets Do Lunch program last June at 223#’s and I am now at 181#’s. I am stuck here because I started eating badly again around the holidays. But I am back on track and determined to lose the last 40-50 #’s I have to lose!! =) blessings…

  4. Oh, my goal is also 135#’s!!

  5. Hmmm what’s the Let’s Do Lunch program? I’ll have to check it out. I’ve been doing really good so far with eating healthier foods. My ultimate goal is 135 but that’s a long, long ways away. Right now, I really just want to be in onederland and under 200! πŸ™‚

  6. Let’s Do Lunch is all about no wheat, no grain (except corn) and no processed junk! That’s it in a nutshell. It’s great and I love it! I do a variation of it, I have been doing some gluten-free flours, which they steer clear of because they are ‘processed’. It’s more of a lifestyle thing than a diet, too, which I love! OH, and I do some oats to….which are also a no-no for LDL! O.o

  7. But, I thought oats are ok? I guess I’m doing a variation of that to then. I try to eat mostly unprocessed food. Probably only 10-15% of my diet now is from processed foods. And, I’ve pretty much given up and stayed away from fast food..which in the past was a 4-6 time a week thing! So, that’s made a huge difference in how much better I’m feeling! The only “processed” things I have now is like white rice or pasta every once in a while or wheat bread with some Nutella..oh so yummy. πŸ™‚ I just set a goal though to get in at least 3 servings of fruits and 5 servings of veggies a day and that does not include fruit juices, or potatos and drink at least 64 oz of water. Doing pretty good so far and I feel great…though I have to pee like every hour..eye roll. Lol.

  8. It depends on who you talk to…on LDL they are a no-no…’whole grains’ are supposed to be good for you, too! Not so much if you are trying to lose weight, I guess and not so much for about 75%- 80% of the population or so I hear! It’s all a matter of what you feel is right for YOU!! It sounds like you have a pretty good grip on what you are doing, just thought I’d mention the LDL as I have had such good results with it!! See you around! =)

  9. Oh, btw…I have a good recipe for homemade nutella! I think it’s on my other blog (http://blog-diggidy.com) look it up, its really good!!

  10. I found a link to your blog on Skinnytaste and decided to take a look. It turns out, we are very similar. I also just started writing a blog (sweetpetuniablog.wordpress.com) to help me stay accountable on my weight loss journey. I figured it’s harder to give up when people are following your progress. I have really enjoyed reading your blog and find myself nodding my head in agreement with the things you talk about. Good luck on your journey!
